Mary Jacks, M.S., L.M.F.T.

Mary Jacks earned her Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of WI-Stout in 1998. Mary interned at Reuben Lindh Family Services in Minneapolis doing in-home therapy and play therapy with children. She is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Mary knew from the age of 15 that she wanted to be in the counseling field. Life circumstances delayed her degree while raising her 3 children, owning and operating an in-home daycare, and working to earn her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Family Social Science from the University of MN in 1995.

Mary has experience working with children as young as 3 up to 80 years young. She works with individuals, families and couples helping them gain insights to develop healthier patterns of interaction. Mary believes the valleys of life can be an opportunity for amazing growth and feels honored to accompany people on their journey to a more balanced life. She has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and is a Level II trained practitioner in EMDR for trauma.
