Eva McCoy
BA, Clinical Trainee

I believe in walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, offering empathy, respect, and support along the way. My experience working in the addictions field has shaped my person‑centered approach, emphasizing personal choice, motivation, and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.

Grounded in my Marriage and Family Therapy training, I take a systemic perspective, focusing on how family and relational dynamics shape individual experiences. I strive to create a welcoming, non‑judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore, grow, and tap into their own capacity for healing and resilience.

Education/Career:

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Wisconsin–Stout. I am under the supervision of Diane Garves, MA, LPC.

I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in connecting with loved ones, being in nature, and trying out new recipes.
